Declaration of Exoneration of Contractual and Extra-Contractual Civil Liability for the Police Race in Miami 2024

1. I voluntarily declare that I have decided to participate in the event "Race for the Colombian Police in Miami 2024," which will take place on November 10th, 2024, in the city of Miami, organized by the Colombian Police Department.

2. I declare that I am in perfect physical, mental, and optimal health conditions and that I am adequately trained to participate in this sporting event.

3. I declare and accept that if I present any symptom that impacts and puts my health at risk, such as heart disease, fever, headache, sore throat, high degree of obesity, pregnancy, effects of alcohol or psychoactive substances, medical prescription, and/or other illness, use of crutches or muscular problems, among others, I will not participate in this event. It should be noted that if I omit any medical recommendation or prescription affecting my health, I will do so under my own responsibility, exonerating the event organization from any type of claim, legal process, or demand if any incident affecting my health occurs during the event.

4. I declare in this document that I will accept any decision made by the organization regarding my participation in the event and that, if I decide to participate in this sporting event, I will do so under my own responsibility.

5. I declare that I assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to falls, injuries, accidents, illnesses caused by direct contact with other participants or weather conditions (including but not limited to temperature and/or humidity), vehicular traffic, muscle injuries, and in general, all associated risks, which I declare to be known and evaluated by me at the time of registration.

6. I accept that to participate in the Race for the Police in Miami 2024, the registration fee must be fully paid before November 10th, 2024.

7. I accept that the money provided for reserving spots or advance payment will not be refunded for any reason if I decide to withdraw from participation. Likewise, I accept that if I am registered and cannot participate in the event, I will not be able to transfer my registration to a third party.

8. I declare and exonerate the organizers of the Race for the Police in Miami 2024, supporting entities, sponsors, or strategic allies from any responsibility for any loss, theft, and/or robbery that may occur during the event, whether within the chosen location or in public spaces, renouncing from this moment any legal claim against the mentioned entities.

9. I accept that the event organizer may cancel, suspend, postpone, or terminate the event early due to safety issues, adverse weather conditions, vandalism, public space invasion, unfavorable conditions in general, safety recommendations from law enforcement, or guidelines from the relevant governmental body related to force majeure.

10. By accepting this document, I authorize the organizers of the Race for the Police in Miami 2024 to use my image, photographs, videos, recordings, and any other means of event recording for any legitimate use and appropriate purposes without any compensation or economic obligation.

11. I authorize the organizers and sponsors of the Race for the Police in Miami 2024 to process my data provided in this document and those collected during the race for purposes related to the event or commercial purposes of promoting benefit programs, offering products or services, surveys through text messages (SMS), email, among others, and/or sharing my data with third parties with whom they have a commercial relationship.

Organizers' Declaration For the processing of your personal data, the organizers will comply with the pertinent laws and regulations. To exercise the rights provided by law, such as knowing, updating, rectifying, and requesting the deletion of your personal data, you may contact the event organizers via email with the subject "Habeas Data Rights."

If minors are to be registered, they must be accompanied by their parents or guardian and must be responsible for them. Minors will not be able to register or enter on the day of the race without an accompanying responsible adult.

1. After reading and agreeing to all the guidelines presented by the event organizer, I declare that I am aware of and voluntarily accept all the conditions and participation guidelines stated in this document, and I agree to participate in the event.

2. Likewise, I declare that I renounce any claim, demand, legal process, and other actions against the organizers, event's business name, sponsors, logistics operators, contractors, and other entities involved in the Race for the Police in Miami 2024 for any concept or event that occurs regarding my participation or dissatisfaction with the methodology presented by the organizer.

3. I accept and declare that the organization, in case of not being able to attend, is not obliged to keep the athlete's kit or incur in the logistics of sending it to my location.
